Monitoring and Controlling Noise from a Club

Clubs come in all shapes and sizes, but most are located in residential areas, close to the customers but also close to residents.

Whether it is a youth club, social club, live music venue or any other place for music entertainment, the volume levels will naturally be high on occasion.

The Pulsar Bluebox Music Monitor and Controller is ideal, allowing the music in the club to continue but cutting out, after a warning, when the levels get too high.

The idea is to stop the complaints by setting a limit on the actual noise that can be made, allowing the club to carry on entertaining.

If your club is hired out for others to operate then this is an ideal way to ensure that your customer do not cause you problems without having to be always present, monitoring their noise emissions.

Setting the Level

The level can be adjusted by opening the front cover (using a key) to access the control. Accurate equipment can be used to set the level but it is often much more useful to select the level by ear, with the agreement of the local residents or the whoever is responsible for law enforcement or environmental health.
