Monitoring and Controlling Noise from a Village Hall
Village halls usually get a very varied usage, from tennis lessons to the weekly disco. Even practicing groups or any other type of amplified music, singing or speech can soon cause upset to the people the village hall is supposed to be serving. The Bluebox noise monitor and controller should be installed between the mains power supply and the sockets that the village hall users power the amplifiers from. This gives the following advantages:
Setting the LevelThe level can be adjusted by opening the front cover (using a key) to access the control. Accurate equipment can be used to set the level but it is often much more useful to select the level by ear, with the agreement of the local residents or the whoever is responsible for law enforcement or environmental health.
